Creditcoin (CTC) is the native token powering the Creditcoin blockchain ecosystem, enabling ultra-low fees, enterprise-grade security, and cross-chain liquidity. Whether you're participating in dApps or leveraging Creditcoin for real-world use cases, understanding how to acquire and use CTC is essential. Here's your quick overview.

How to Get CTC: A Step-by-Step Guide

  1. Set Up Your Wallet

    • Download and install Credit Wallet

    • Create or import your wallet.

    • Back up your private key or recovery phrase securely.

    • Locate your wallet address.

  2. Select the Appropriate Token

    • Aside from Creditcoin Mainnet, CTC exists on Ethereum as well, with each possessing specific capabilities:

      • Creditcoin Mainnet

        • CTC (EVM) enables DeFi and smart contract interactions.

        • CTC (Native) is used for staking activities.

        • wCTC (EVM) offers smart contract interactions on Creditcoin for G-CRE token holders.

      • Ethereum

        • G-CRE (ERC-20) is available for trading on centralized and decentralized exchanges.

        • wCTC (ERC-20) is available on Uniswap and allows Mainnet CTC token holders the ability to leverage multi-chain opportunities.

  3. Acquire G-CRE (ERC-20)

    • You can purchase G-CRE from a DEX or centralized exchange, but note that the ticker symbol for trading pairs is CTC when searching for pairs on CEXs.

    • You can create an account with several major exchanges, then follow the platform’s instructions to purchase CTC and/or withdraw them. Note that when withdrawing CTC from centralized exchanges it will be G-CRE on the Ethereum network:

  4. Optional: Swap for Wrapped wCTC (ERC-20)

    • Connect Credit Wallet to Uniswap, ensure it is funded with ETH for gas fees, and select wCTC/ETH as the tokens to swap.

    • Enter the desired amount, approve the transaction, and confirm the swap. The wCTC will appear in your wallet once the transaction is complete.

  5. Bridge G-CRE or wCTC to CTC (EVM)

    • Visit

    • Choose Your Swap Direction:

      • G-CRE → CTC (EVM)

      • wCTC ↔ CTC (EVM)

  6. Interact with EVM Smart Contracts via Creditcoin

    • With CTC (EVM) in your wallet, you’re ready to:

      • Participate in decentralized applications.

      • Use it for cross-chain liquidity or staking.

      • Enjoy the benefits of ultra-low transaction fees.
