# How to Participate

#### Step 1. Connect Your Wallet

Connect your wallet on the Launchpad page.

To participate, your wallet must be connected to Creditcoin Network.

#### Step 2. Enter Max Budget

Enter the amount of CTC you are willing to spend.

Max budget is the maximum amount of CTC that your bid can use. The full amount entered is not always used.

The actual amount spent depends on the clearing price and how much of your bid fills.

#### Step 3. Enter Max FDV

Enter the maximum FDV you are willing to accept.

Max FDV is the maximum valuation condition for your bid.

If the clearing FDV rises above your Max FDV, the remaining budget stops filling.

#### Step 4. Check the Receive Estimate

Check the estimated amount in the Receive section.

Receive is only an estimate based on your current inputs and does not guarantee the final received amount.

#### Step 5. Review Your Bid

Review your inputs and conditions on the Review bid screen.

Once submitted, a bid cannot be edited or cancelled while the Launchpad is running.

#### Step 6. Place Bid

Approve the transaction in your wallet to submit your bid.

If the transaction succeeds, the bid will appear in Activity or Your bids.

#### How Bids Fill

A user's bid may fill gradually while the Launchpad is running.

Whether a bid fills depends on the clearing price and the user's Max FDV.

#### In Range

Your Max FDV is above the current clearing FDV.

In this state, your bid may fill.

#### Out of Range

The clearing FDV has risen above your Max FDV.

In this state, the remaining budget stops filling. Any portion that has already filled remains filled.

#### Fully Filled

Your full budget has been used.

When the claim window opens, you can claim the filled tokens.

#### Partially Filled

Only part of your budget has been used.

You can claim the filled tokens, and any unused budget can be withdrawn after settlement.

#### Not Filled

Nothing filled before the clearing price passed your Max FDV.

In this case, your full budget can be withdrawn after settlement.

#### Key Messages

#### Transaction Failed

This is shown when transaction submission fails or when the user rejects the wallet signature.

Transaction failed

Please try again.

#### Clearing FDV Changed

This is shown when the clearing FDV rises above the user's Max FDV during Review bid.

In this case, the user needs to edit the bid and submit it again.

#### Must Be Above the Current Clearing FDV

This is shown when Max FDV is less than or equal to the current clearing FDV.

In this state, the Review bid button is disabled.

#### Pre-Participation Checklist

* Make sure your wallet is connected.
* Make sure your wallet network is set to Creditcoin Network.
* Make sure you have CTC available on Creditcoin Network.
* Make sure you have enough CTC to pay network fees.
* Make sure your Max budget does not exceed your CTC balance.
* Make sure your Max FDV is above the current clearing FDV.
* Understand that bids cannot be edited or cancelled while the Launchpad is running.
