# Claim and Refund

#### Claim

When the claim window opens, users can claim the tokens filled by their bids.

The claim schedule can vary by project and can be checked in the Timeline section of each Launchpad page.

#### Refund / Withdraw

Any unused budget can be withdrawn after settlement.

Refunds may not be sent to your wallet automatically. You may need to withdraw them manually.

#### Claim and Refund Are Separate Actions

Claim is the action of receiving the tokens filled by your bid.

Refund / Withdraw is the action of receiving back the unused CTC budget.

Depending on the result, a user may be able to claim only, withdraw only, or do both.

#### Timeline

Timeline shows the major schedule items for the Launchpad.

Possible items include:

* Launchpad starts
* Launchpad ends
* Settlement in progress
* Claim opens

Before the Launchpad starts, no step has been reached yet, so all items may be shown in the default state.

After the Launchpad ends, settlement begins.

The claim schedule can vary by project, and users can claim when the claim window opens.

#### Activity

Activity shows the status of key transactions performed by the user in the Launchpad.

The target transaction types are:

* bid
* refund
* claim

Each transaction can have an in-progress state and a completed state.

#### Pending State

The transaction has been submitted but has not yet been confirmed.

Examples:

* Submitting bid
* Withdrawing refund
* Claiming tokens

#### Completed State

The transaction has been confirmed.

Examples:

* Bid submitted
* Refund withdrawn
* Claimed

Clicking a completed transaction row opens the transaction page in the explorer.
